Responding to the question:    What's good about studying in Texas?

In my opinion, ... three reasons: inexpensive (living), nice weather, and friendly residents.

Tuition and living expenses are the main factors for most students to choose a place to study, especially when they want to study abroad.  In America, the expenses of tuition and living are different from state to state. If students study in New York or L.A., they have to prepare more money because tuition and living expenses are more expensive. In contrast, compared with those high expense states, studying in Texas can save some money.

In addition, the weather is nice for me. I do not like rainy days. There are only a few rainy days per year in Texas. Some people may feel that it is hot in summer; however, I do not feel uncomfortable because there are air conditioners everywhere.

The last reason why I feel studying in Texas is good is that the people who live in Texas are friendly. Compared with other places, most Texans have smiles on their faces. Besides, they are happy to answer my questions and to help me when I need some help. Because of these reasons, it is really good for a foreign student to study in Texas.
