Responding to two questions:

(1) What's good about studying in Texas?

There are two major reasons that I opted to study in Texas. Texas is one of the biggest states in America which is located in the southern region. The southern states have relatively better weather conditions than the northern states. In addition, unlike northern states, Texas has a low cost of living.

(2) What can potential international students expect when they come to Texas?

I believe that cost of living and weather are the two most important facts that affect international students' decisions on choosing the proper place to study English. Before I came to the U.S., I asked a lot of students who have been studying in the U.S. and most of them agreed that Texas would be the best state for affordable living. Also, it's usually sunny and warm in Texas. It means that I do not have to spend my spare time at home. There are many places to visit in Texas and if the weather was not good enough, I could not visit open areas, such as zoo, lakes, etc.
