Potential international students may expect to have fun when they come to study in Texas. This beautiful state provides a mixture of cultures that is expressed through food, entertainment, and the variety of people in Texas. Texas food (is known as) Tex-Mex food, but people can also enjoy typical food from other countries, such as Mexico, Thailand, and India among others.

Likewise, entertainment is another attraction to students and the general public. The Six Flags Over Texas is the main attraction in Arlington, where children, youth, and adults merge together with one purpose: to have fun. Moreover, if students want to have fun at night, they can go to the "West-End" street in downtown Dallas, where night life entertainment is a must!

In the same order of ideas, Texas offers to international students the opportunity to meet people from around the world and know more about their cultures: we can say that living in Texas is living in a cross-cultural environment.
