Responding to two questions:

(1) What is good about studying in Texas?

There are three attractive things about studying in Texas. First, the prices are normally cheaper than in other states, e.g., apartment rental fee, gas, food, and so on. During your stay in Texas, you can save money, and you can use it in other useful ways. Second, Texas is a huge state. It's the second biggest state in the U.S. Because of that, the roads (in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area) are wide, so you can drive easier than in other big cities. In addition, you don't need to care about traffic jams in Texas. Third, Texas' crime rate is lower than in other states. Especially, Arlington is a small and silent city, so the crime rate is very low. ...You can just study and enjoy (living here) without crime.

(2) What can potential international students expect when they come to Texas?

Texas, especially Arlington, there are many races because of UT Arlington; Asian, African, European, so you can make lots of international friends. In addition, since there are lots of races (and ethnic groups) you can taste the food from many countries. Next you can travel to Mexico because Mexico is just connected with Texas...and Texas is located in the middle of America, so you can travel to other states easily.
